bars arnt going on thredless sr fork

right my problem is that the bars go on untill theres like 2cms left and wont go on any furher and the star nut isnt stopping it either i made sure its up the bars away from the fork

plz any advice

make your slit bigger

my friend had that to but it was a treaded fork he just tighten the clamp alot and rode with the bars up a little

Make the slit bigger, or chop a little bit off the fork.

Cut like 3 cm off of your fork...it works good.

Or put some kind of headset spacer between your bars and headset. it works perfect too.

yah i ended up doing the spacer thing thanks alot for all your help i will get a new haedset and sacers too tomoz and then it should work good

there ones i made, basicly wee bars without a shim on it.

it works now any way, but i would like to get a better starnut and then i wont hve any play in my headset
