Bars Stuck ON HIC

I Went to slip my bars onto the shim and i noticed the headset was loose so i tryed to take them off they were stuck

Doesnt work. I Tightened the headset all the way and i tryed to put the bars over the shim but it wouldnt go on easy so i took it outside did a couple of ollies and the bars went all the way down but the headset got loose again and the bars wont come off

this happened to me like yesterday. Loosen your clamp, do the penny thing if necessary. put the clamp up higher on the bars out of the way, then get like a flat head screw driver and try to pry the bars open like wider. Move it back and forth pulling up to get it off.

he means take a flathead and then try to make the slit at the bottom of the bars wider and then they should come off.

But the slit in the shim as alligned with the slit with the bars so if i try to pry itim going to make the slit on the shim wider

just twist your bars, their is no way that they are that tight, just put the forks in between 2 peices of metal like a sewer and twist
