Bars stuck

When I was mounting my new frenchID fork it all went fine till the bars...

Usually my bars are hard to get on. It has to do something with those bars I think...

Well, heres the problem:
When I was putting on my bars I had to use some force (as usual, read above) and half way down my bars are going nowhere. They are really stuck. Im shure my starnut is pushed in far enough ( yes, I measured.)

I have weebars, if that matters.

Does anyone know how to get my bars of right now? cause I really want to ride my new FrenchID fork :S

im not sure why its not fitting? lol thats kind of wierd. all i would say to do it to sit on your butput the scooter deck under your feet, and PULL!

bash it on and if you wont to get it off just hold your bars tight and sort of like stamp on the deck while the decks in the air im going to go have some milk :)

ok so i have a threadless sr fork. and when mine gets stuck i take the wheel out. and put a long screwdriver in the axle holes, then u put it down and stand on each side of the screw driver and u just turn and pull up. then once u get them off, get some of that heavy duty thick grease all over the fork tube. successssssssssss

Yeh grease should work. or file your bars down some.

The first batch of chromoly wees are realllly tight because i thought that tubing would be perfectly fit, but it turned out their inner diameter was 0.005" smaller which is causing problems on threadless forks.

The new batch of wee bars (which are currently in stock on WEE) have a slightly bigger inner diameter so they will fit perfectly on both threadless and threaded forks with no problems.

There are 3 options you can do:

1) you can try to file inside the bars to get the inner diameter just enough to get the fork in, which is a pain in the ass work.
2) I can make you a discount on a new set of bars so you could put them on your FrenchID fork.
3) I can make you a discount on the PROTO "Brass Knuckles" SCS. That way you can use the FrenchID fork and the same WEE bars without modifying (except cutting 2 inches off the bottom of the wee bars if you want to stay at the same height while using the PROTO clamp, since the bars and forks don't touch each other in the clamp).

To get the fork out, put a pipe through the FrenchID fork, and try to spin the bars out.
Put some WD40 into the slit, it will help a bit.

So please make shure you get them soon madis! i wanna ride...

madis, how much of a discount on the brass knuckles or new bars since mine have the same problem. or would it still be more since im in the us?

i know this may sound wierd but stick the deck in a vice and try screwing the bars off as if they are threaded it worked with my friends

yeah, I tried al sorts of stuff.
But I cant even get movement in there. Its really stuck. So I'll just have to cut off my bars, and the rest thats still on the fork too.
