Bars wont fit on forks

the starnuts wont even go into the bars because they are exactly the width of the bars from the outside wall to the other outside wall, wait are lucky nw forks made for oversized bars?

No, shit it's the same size. It's supposed to be like that so the starnut actually has pressure and friction to grab the inside of the bars to keep from slipping.

The combo should work as my friend is riding the exact same set-up. Make sure there aren't any dings or dents on the steering tube or the downtube part of the bars that is made to slide on to the steering tube. If you find any imperfections, use some san paper or a file to make the surfaces smooth.

Like with all things tight, use some lubricant if needed )

check the slit cuz mine was cut too short....and just put a piece of woof on the top of ur bars then beat it with ur HAMMER

Yes, cut a bigger slit. Have u tried twisting them on as if the bars were threaded? That helps.

i tried twisting them on like they are threaded it wont go and the starnuts are 1 1/4 inch wide and the bars are 1 1/4 inch wide from the outside wall to the other outside wall

My god! Did you not read what I said. The starnut is supposed to be the size as the outside diameter as 1 1/4" bars. That way it actually puts pressure on the inside of the bars so it doesn't slide out.

Try greasing the forktube and reading up on ICS to figure out what you're doing (wrong.)
