BARS

Haha I was like , is this the thread super long ago? Then I say it was from May 18th.

There are 23 grades of titanium. Different grades have different mixtures of metal in it. There is not such thing as which grade is the best but grade 2 is cheaper among the 23 grades and is most common. Grade 7 one of the most expensive and I think its the better ones.

There are not many people who welds titanium in the world. In China ( where most things are made ) , there are very , very few titanium welders. There are people in Japan who do it though.I am not sure about America.Oh and it cost a lot to weld titanium. I don't mean 10 USD or something. Probably much more.

Titanium has flex but that means bend and bend back not bend and stay there bent. Try to stick to Buffs and Rad and post about your ideas when you are very sure it will work and have done some research at least.

ok some metal facts for u guys

Steel- strong but heavy

Aluminum- light but weak

Chromoly- like right in between steel and aluminum, sort of light and sort of strong

Titanium- Strong and light, but expensive. ti doesnt bend easy if you get it made right. some parts of airplanes are made of ti and believe me the gov't wouldnt let planes fly if the bolts holding the plane together (made of ti) were bending.

so there you go
