barspin rewinds?

ok I know tailwhip rewinds already exist. but I was doing barspins and I kinda missed one and my bar hit my hand halfway. so I came up with this idea: you do a normal barspin, but when its halfway stick out your hand you usually use to catch. then hit it in the opposite direction, catch it with the first hand and land. that gives you something that looks like a barspin rewind. I landed a couple, there fun to do and in my oppinion they dont look too sloppy. I just wanted to know if its a new trick or if I'm just a trick noob.
