Baseball Wooden Bats vs Metal Bats Discussion

I'm sure a fair amount of people on this forum play baseball. For the past 2 years, my league has developed a new rule, wooden bats only, no metal bats. I'm pretty sure you can hit a ball further with a double/triple walled bat with awesome grip rather than a wooden bat, I'm not complaining I'm just fueling the fire (per se). Anything about bats. Wanted to see how many other people have a wooden bat league and what people thought. Best metal bats, best wooden bats, what bats does your league supply you with if you do use wooden bats.... Yeah.

my league is gonna ban composite bats, but idk bout metal bats in general. i hate wooden bats

i play high school base ball. the best bats are composite metal. the stealth comp stiff flex is the best on the market. wood hits it no were as far as metal. theres a reason pros use wood

yeah they banded them because theres a paint to keep the pop at a certin level and peopel would hit there bat on the wall to take the paint come off to make the have a better pop

i though a guy died because a ball was hit off his head wen he was pitching. they say composite doesnt give you enough reaction time because it comes off way faster

well that two but if you ever seen like bat that were beat to shit. and they hit bombs with it thats the reason.A kid on my team befor every game for like ten min hits it off the pole it has soo much pop on it its nuts.

i hav a lighter than air alu bat. theres this kid in my league has those combat bats. there 100% composite and there like 300 bucks. he smacks the shit outta the ball tho

yea cause its comp if the paint on tht bat starts to wear off it will rip the true speed will come out

he keeps it in like a glass case when its not in use so i doubt that would happen

I'm on a travel team for 11-13. Im 13. Im the teams main pitcher but im also a good power hitter. I bat 6 and In the 2 tournaments we've played i've gotten 1 home run over the fence. I use a easton stealth sc900 cnt It has a carbon nanotube. Im a pretty good batter without such a big barrel but i would die without metal bats.

i use the cf3 big barrel white and it is the sexiest bat i have ever used. im 13 and ill be playing legion next year and ive already used wood bats before. they suck hard
