Im becoming more and more convinced that people down under can't speak english.

its making fun of new zealanders, not aussies.

Doesn't matter, I could hardly understand what both characters say, the same feeling I have when watching Coreyfield videos or any other where an aussie says something. I guess that the huge distance from any other english speaking culture makes australian/oceanian english so much different.

australian/new zealand accents originated from convict english settlers which has nothing to do with isolation???

actually it does since language evolves just like anything else. like philly vs new york accents. the cities are only an hour and a half driving time away yet the accents are sooo different, and america hasnt been around that long compared to other countries. when england and their prisoners were separated language started to evolve and after all this time you can now see the major differences in vocabulary and pronunciation. segregation and time both make for change in everything.
