I think they do matter but thats just me being obbsessed with bearings,Each to there own i think,some of my friends have rode stock bearings for years and dont do anything to them,others clean them every week

Ceramics should never even be an option due to how expensive they can be, and how easily they break. Never buy ceramics.

I love bones swiss but,i have bones super 6 with labrynth seals so i have the fastest and strongest combination with labyrnth seals to keep even the smallest bits of dirt out.
Buy ceramics directly from vxb i think hes called "irvineman" on ebay,i got a set of 8 for 12 dollars,no limit scooters sell 4 for 15

im going to be honest, even though bearings have nothing to do with speed, its nice to have strong bearings.

those are by far the strongest bearings.. ever. im riding some twincams on the back with now and after abusing the shit out of them its still smooth as they were brand new.
if you have to buy bearings, those are the ones.

also if you have old heelys, you might want to check out the bearings in them

yea the vxb teflon sealed also keep EVERYTHING out of those bearings

kk, abec ratings are a load of bull----- never buy bearings because of there abec rating. Buy cheap bearings, clean them out and put oil in them.

Abec bearings are NOT a load of bull,its a common myth that the higher rating the faster youll go,Abec ratings where made for machines and what tolerances they have and race finish.A abec 11 bearing could easily go down to abec 3 bearing if rusted.I like to have the reassurance that a abec 11 bearing will not blow or seize no matter how fast i go as long as Theyre properly maintained

Sorry i got the numbers mixed up,But youre a tad over priced,I only ride Vxb bearings in everything right down to my rc cars

Bump,Officially seized some vxb abec 7s yesterday,I gave them to my friend to use for a day or so,He rides dry bearings so he cleaned all the oil out and rode them,when he gave me them back he said he put oil in them but i didnt bther checking,They blew in a race,they lasted wuite a while,i highly reccomend!
