theres definitely a huge difference in not only speed but smootheness and quietness. i rode stock bearings on levons spare scooter and it felt unbelieveably slow, like it was unable to even get up to speed, ive noticed this with every scooter ive ridden with stock bearings. i got some OLD reds out of a skateboard a few years ago, now, these were at least 4 years old when i got them. i cleaned them out and put them in my scooter and there was a huge difference in speed, even after being caked with dirt for years. i just switched to super swiss 6 and i didnt notice a huge difference in speed than reds, but i can roll longer and maintain my speed longer, and i dont hear them AT ALL, which at first sort of felt weird becuase it almost seemed like they werent going good, but they were going smoother and still just as fast as my reds. not to mention, it took one session at talent to break them in, not days.
