no clean them and just ride them clean or put a little bearing lube on them like specially made lube not any oil or wd40 that stuff will kill ur bearings

To what RyanV asked,
I think first you get windex or alchohol, put it in a cup which you are ready to throw away immediatly after use so no one dies of drinking water mixed with bad things.

Put those bearings in the fluid and let it soak for night atleast it seems. Take out the seals and covers so that the dirt comes off easily and won't get stuck inside.

After that, take the bearing out. Try to use cotton buds and cloth and tissue paper to clean the inside and absorb the left over cleaning fluid and then finally
you got a shiny dry and proper bearing, use good oil

Bicycle chain lube I suggest. Not singer oil or machine oil or some bad oil. NO GREASE!!!

I just stole some old Bones Reds outta some skateboard wheels I had lying around. They work well, and got no complaints so far.

Alright well I soaked my bearings (houseing and everything, didnt try to dissassemble them) in windex overnight and then relubed them with bones speed cream. I noticed a small difference but not to much. I think I might get new wheels and bearings. Im gonna see if they have craps bearings but what wheels would you reccomend? Im currently riding stock and I want a wheel that can fit on stock forks and is uber fast and can absorb a lot of shock. Good carving would be nice too. I already checked out the wheel thread btw. In all honesty my stock wheels are in pretty good shape, and I am just looking for more speed. So recomendations?

I just got some Lucky ABEC 7 bearings yesterday and put them into my stock wheels, I must say they are definatly an improvement in all aspects. I wish they would hold speed a bit longer though. Do you think I made a good purchase?

Well I ended up getting A 110 low pro wheel on back and a 110 Red blank on the front. Holy crap is it fast! I need to change out the bearings in the front (I think they might be broken or something) but still, friggin sweet!

Well, I think they are pretty fast IMHO. BTW I was clening my bearings today and I noticed that on one of them the metal part that faces outward had come off, exposing the bearings. Should I just put it back on and keep riding?
