Been asked before, I know, but I'm gonna buy a pair of new shoes with Christmas money

I'm not looking for opinions of what you like. I want to know positively, without a doubt, what is the most durable shoe I can buy for like $65? I don't buy/get shoes more than once a year, twice if I'm lucky.

I want a shoe that the sole will last for a year with at least like an hour of riding a day, without wearing completely through the sole. With that said, though, I also want the upper to last just as long. So leather/suede and a non-vulcanized sole, I guess. Who knows what I need?

Enough with the fucking Janoskis. They're too damn expensive for what they are.

I don't think you know what you are talking about.
Janoski Mid Tops are the most durable shoes I have ever ridden. Just got a new pair for christmas infact.

I got a blue pair of Janoski Mids but I might exchange them for lows.. Kind of awk feeling around the ankle imo.

It takes some getting used to. I wear a second sole insert in mine so my feet are a little higher and it feels more comfortable to me.

Osiris and Etnies work fine for me.

If you have a local Ross store they sell high top Osiris for about 28 dollars.

Nike 6.0s, I have a pair of Morgan Mids that I rode hard for the past year and they finally got retired.

Fallens are pretty good as well, I love my Slashes that I've had for a month or two now. Really good grip and they seem like they're holding up.
