Before buying grip tape look at this

how to clean grip tape

Get a tooth brush (not the one you use), some windex, and a towel (not a paper towel leave pieces of paper on the grip tape)

1 Get your deck with dirty grip tape

2 Spary some windex ont he grip tape

3 Scrub it with a tooth brush in the dirty spots or all of it just to make sure you get it all

4 Get the towel and place it on the deck and pat it down and when you remove it should be dry

5 Go ride

i just use olive oil and an old rag, it makes the griptape grippier then it was new, i always did this when i used to skate, it doesnt work with colored griptape though.
