Hi I'm Jake
I've been into a few extreme sports in the past but never really gone far with each one (Inline, Skating, ATB, BMX) and have had scooters but never really gone much past riding them. Only recently found out how much can be done with scooters and have got hooked
.
I currently have (Well my bros have) a Micro Flex and I think the other one has a sprite. The flex is great but not suitable for tricks at all. The Sprite I'm going to have a play around with at a skatepark on friday.
I want to get my own though and although this will probably open a can of worms...What do people recommend? Currently I'm leaning towards a Micro XT but it's quite pricey and was wondering if there was any ones that I could get and upgrade as I go (that cost abit less too)
Also is there any magazines out for Scootering?
And also is there any normal grease I can use on bearings. there's quite a few bits in the garage (white lithium grease, silicon grease, WD40) and wondered if one was suitable to grease up the bearings abit.
Thanks in advance
Jake
Edit: Sorry one last thing, is there a page showing the different components of a scooter (headset, deck etc) I know some of it, but some I'm abit lost with.
