Being the only one who rides in your area...

I know there are alot of you out there who are the only ones riding at your skate park, other then the Madd Gear kids. I just want some advice on how you push yourself when you have nobody better then you and how you have learned to do some tricks without anyone showing you how to do it ?

well lets just say a starting scootering in my park with a couple friends like 6 years ago at my park you kjust have to get the scene started. And yes your going to have to learn from yourself and create your own style.

Me too. Even though I have loads of people to ride with but sometimes at around 9ish, if it's fairly light outside I'll go and try tricks. I find it really fun and you often learn tricks with out thinking.

The scooter scene has started to take off in canada ! i find my self showing alot of kids how to do certain tricks and what to focus on, but they are all a generation behind me... when i go to the skate park i go with like 4 skaters and 3 bikers and sometimes its hard to throw down and learn new tricks when i dont have anything to look up too. the videos have helped alot , especially AM vids where the skill level isnt to far ahead of where i am at.
