bending wood

alright, im building a kicker and i have 3/4" ply and 2x4's... wondering how hard it would be to bend the 3/4"??? i cant get any thinner stuff, this is all i have.

hahahahahahahahahaha...........you dont know how hard i laughed when seeing the title of this thread.

but anyway, i doubt your gonna bend it. you should have tried to find some place around you that might have 1/4" and get a few layers of that.

if you want it to bend easier, lay the plywood in the grass for a day. The water and dew causes the middle of the wood to shrink and makes the wood curl, so then it will be easier to bend.
I have a 3/4" peice of ply and did that, and now it almost has the full curve of a kicker, im just too lazy too make another.

soak it in water and put it between to benches with a weight in the middle so it bends and stays bent. Works fine for me.
 
but if i left it like that it wouldnt be the right bend? ill just try what someone said and leave it in te grass...
