Bent seatpost

Today when I was on my moutain bike and my friend was on his bmx bike, he bent his seatpost. He was manualling down a hill and he bailed out at the end and the whole bike landed right on the seat, and when he got up he was angry because he thought his seat had just slipped and he couldn't move it back, so when he gets by me I see this-

So I proceded to laugh at him for a few minutes, and he got an uncomfortable ride home. His problem though, is that he can't buy a new seatpost because then his dad will know he bent it, and will get mad since he always breaks his stuff. So I'm just going to Dremel it off right above the bend and put it back on, almost slammed.

Moral of the story? Run your seat slammed, and don't throw your bike. And make friend's with people who have tall seat posts haha.

Yeah thats cool, I have no seatpost what so ever. I cut mine all the way. Don't remember why.

Real men have their seats slammed anyway, I have mine pretty close (or will once my bike's done) so that I can still pedal when sitting down.

not all the way down, it gets annoying trying to pedal with a seat tilted back super far, and all the way low, my knees can't bend to it, mys eats tilted back, and like....a good 5 inches from the frame.
