Dewey, I'll 2nd what Mr. H said.
there really isn't a clear coat out there that is designed to stand up to the abuse that bars see. Even a top dollar resin based coating is not going to last very long when a set of bars hit a concrete edge or steel coping.
Most folks just don't have the patience to apply rattle can clear coat properly.
If you follow the directions on the can diligently you'll end up with good results from just about any brand you grab off the shelf.
A good job will take you a couple of days due to drying times between coats and that cuts in to riding time unless you have a spare set of bars.
1st Coat:
the 3-4 mins is for the application during the 1st coat.
2nd Coat you really should wait 24 hrs, or more.
Lightly sand with 220 Grit sandpaper
Repeat the spraying of light coats 3-4 mins between application
3rd coat/Final
apply clear coat again
wait 24 hrs to completely cure.
