Best Scooter for 250lbs+

I've been wanting to get a scooter to ride around my college campus, nothing flashy, just something to get me to/from places less than a mile each way.

I was looking into the Razor A5 Lux or the Pro Model, both have a weight limit of 220lbs but I know they can hold more than that. I saw online that a 260lbs man rode a Razor A which only has a 143lbs limit.

I'm wondering of anyone has any personal experiences with how they handle over the weight limit or if there is another kind I can look at. I'm aiming for it to cost less than $100. Thanks!

yup, get an ultra pro http://www.opentip.com/Sporting-Goods/Razor-Ultra-Pro-Scooter-p-1293455.html and buy some decent inline wheels http://www.skates.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=HYPWHL-STLTH&click=84734 ultra pro wheels are really hard, since you're just riding around you want something smooth and fast.
edit: make sure they are 100mm. 110mm wont fit on a rup fork without modding.

Nah, I'd definitely go with the Ultra high model. Big bars + better weight limit.

It should be good stock, but for a little more speed I'd put these on it:

20/pair and should get you a bit more speed than the RUP wheels.
