Best shutter speed for a.....

i use 1/800 but sometimes i put it on 1/1000 when i'm not paying attention and there doesn't seem to be a big diffence to me.

u cnt just say what shutterspeed suits a sunny day.

it depends on how sunny it is, if u r facing the sun or not, if u r in shade, etc..

so get in the angle u want for the photo and take about 3/4 photos at different shutterspeeds to see which 1 comes out the best or which 1 u like the most.
then takke the shot using that speed.

Now i use 1/2000. and change the lense aperture & the aperture on the camera, because if i dont change the aperture using a shutterspeed of 1/2000 the photo would just come out all black...The photo's come out so crisp..

the key to an theoretical good EXPOSURE = Aperture + Shutter speed

If you want picssss like this, use a higher shutter speed and play around with the aperture. 1/2000 or even 1/3000 is great for action shots. seeee below is a perfect shutter speed.

i take a test photo on autofocus so i get an idea about what the aperture and shutter speed needs to be (looking at the picture info)
then, i switch it to manual and turn manual focus on and snap away.
with a digital rebel xt

no, i put everything on auto(lense and body) and take a pic of a ramp/whatever
then, on my rebel, i look at the picture i just took and hit info at the top so it says the aperture and shutter speed
then, i put everything on manual(lense and body) and set the aperture & shutter speed according to the above text
