Related question - my young son has a 6 month old mg end of days; he wants cooper klaar bars with a proto baby scs clamp. Someone at his skatepark told me that the mgp fork won't work with the new parts -- if that is correct, what fork would you suggest?

make your own and you'll have indestructible ones. i made some with a .120 crossbar and they only are like 3 or so pounds I've slammed the crossbar on the ground and it didn't even budge lol.

You can ride that set up yes but you will need to cut your forks down quite alot from memory i had to cut about 30-40mm of mine when i rode a baby scs on my stock nitro. I would recommend a TILT SCS over the Proto baby however due to the 6mm bolts which means they will not strip and will not come loose as easy. Hope this helps!
