if you love to do grinds-thresh
the ethic has two little strips on the bottom

well the ethic would be lighter but not by much. and worse for grinds
the thresh is awesome for grinds and so much room for it and is really well balanced

Ethics feel kinda flimsy and you feel like its hard to lock into shit IMO, and the threshold is solid as shit and still whips well

They are both great decks and work differently for different riders, me personally the Ethic is the best deck I have ever rode ( haven't rode a Thresh except for Josh Moore's ) I like a light deck and I dig the look of the Ethic, I have no problem at all grinding on my Ethic, ledges, rails, benches whatever I can still grind it, that's all I really do is grind and the Ethic is damn good for overcrooks I can lock for ages

Ethic grinds amazingly and it feels alot more solid than addict, so its halfway between addict and thresh on that

Cant deny the look of the thresh though

whatever you like, they both perform great & grind great. Dont listen to these thresh fanboys bagging out the ethic. The ethic grinds hella good. Plus the ethic is a fair bit lighter that the thresh.

I haven't ridden a thresh but I've ridden an ethic a fair bit and it feels nice, a lot nicer than an addict. It whips nice, feels balanced and 100 grams of weight is nothing, that's less than half a cup of water in weight ffs. The ethic didn't hurricane well though, if you didn't land completely level it slid out cause it only has thin rail side things with hollow base in the middle and personally my reventon feels way more tank and better for grinding than an ethic and everyone says thresholds are better than reventons.

I prefer the way a Threshold feels, more solid and in my opinion more responsive. Also locks into grinds sooooooooo good.
