Blazer Scs and District forks

If i put a starnut in the forks upside down, cut the slit off my bars and used the blazer scs would it work?

Put the ICS bolt through the district fork and just tighten the starnut onto the top cap.

i have a different ics with the small bolt

that way involves no cutting. but it will take effort to get the starnut all the way to the top of the fork. if you add me on facebook 'Ashley Powell' (im from UK) i can show you in my photo albums how i done it
