We have recently come across an issue with the material used in the Ace of Spades brake body. The Brake body which is meant to be made of high quality 6061-T6 has been manufactured with a cheaper Aluminum, un-knowing to us.
We have taken direct action on this matter and a new batch of brakes is in production now, due in 20 days.
If you have a brake that has failed (broken) please contact the shop that you bought it off and they will have a temporary replacement for you.
As soon as the new brakes arrive, we will notified everyone and you will be able to go in and pick up your replacement. If you have brought your deck over the net, then your brake will be sent out to you on requested.
New brakes are due on the 8th of Nov.
We pride ourselves in making the high quality parts and I can ensure you this is an isolated incident and all other Blunt products are using and made from the metals we have advertised.
And please don't post photos of your broken brakes on the net. We feel we shouldn't be punished for a failed product that was not our fault. Do know we are doing everything in our power to fix the problem.
For those who are a fan of the Flex style brake.... Blunt will soon be releasing their own style of flex brake in the coming months.
