ya i think they both help each other..because my friend steven rode bikes but could only like 180 to fakie....then he got real good at scooters and when he started riding bikes again...he could barspins flat, 360 flat, and get 1 foot on a tailwhip off a pitchers mound [almost flat]...so ya i think that if you ride scooters for a while it would prepare you allot better for bike tricks, rather than just starting out with a bike and trying to learn tricks with bike first.
