K, so I'm into the BMX scene to. I went to the newsagent tonight and picked up the latest issue of 2020 bmx magazine. So I'm flicking through the pages and I came across a title of "scootertrade". Just kicking off the discussion:
I'm super pissed, I've held respect for 2020, and read the mag for a couple of years now. I really think what they are doing is stupid, cause targeting the members of this forum (I believe) as "12 year old scooter kids". Seriously? I think most of the members on here are over 12 and aren't dicks at the skatepark, and show common sense and courtesy at the local. Can't they see that the sport is growing? and that alot of the riders now are older and more respectful? Come on guys.
Whatever guys.

2020 BMX magazine said:Seems the ongoing BMX versus scooter debate has reached a new level, possibly thanks to colony's 'trade in your scooter' scheme'. Basically giving any scooter kid the chance to get a colony complete for $100 off. Rad eh? Not if your a scooter kid apparently. If you thought BMX message boards were gnarly zones of 12 year old angst, try scooter ones! I guess scooter Kids get the shits when a pro-scooter dude (is that even real?) doesn't befriend them on arsebook.com, so they have to rub one out to animal porn, get busted by their mum and then feel guilty and alone, and then hate on everything that is rad in the world, ie BMX. Each to their own we guess. Stop the hate? whatever.
Whatever guys.
