bmx seat post clamp compression?

ive heard of people using seat post clamps instead of a compression system...
does this work?

it comes loose every now and then and all u gotta do is just tighten it.

its what a 1 1/8 seatpost clamp. its gotta be the same size as the headset. and you turn the clamp upside down so the lil lip inside is on the bottom then slide ur bars in and push down on them to compress the headset and keep pressure then tighten the seat post clamp then the normal clamp

I just wanted to verify. Razor ultra pro uses 1 1/8th inch clamp? So that should convert to a 28.6 seatpost clamp?????
