on tuesday Rickey Bates and Gary Dimartine were killied in a car crash heading to Phoenix after attending the 2011 interbike show.
if you dont know, Rickey was one of the main dudes behind all of the Banned dvd's that really showcased what riding a bike (or anything for that matter) is really all about. just going out and shredding with your friends all day then partying all night long just trying to have as much fun as possible. he also rode for sputnic, where he had his own signature frame, and the shadow conspiracy. gary was a good friend of Rickey's and was featured on the most recent Banned project and was working on the next one.
i know its not scooter related but this is still the death of a couple of great riders shot down in thier prime. they originally traveld from Florida and managed to make it to Vegas on a minimal budget showing that they were very commited to the sport. please just take a moment to offer your condolences because this is a bummer.
