Bolting Bars

I want to bolt a crossbar on one of my scooters, but I need to know the size of the metal

I am planning on using chromolly or aluminum, but what outer diameter do I need? Is it 7/8 inch?

And don't say go to my hardware store, because my home depot is shit they don't have aluminum or chromolly, only steel and copper

u can use 1\2 inch and put tape on it so it fits better, thats what i did, works like a charm

Why bother doing that if you are gonna drill it?

7/8 works. or if there is 23mm that is better.

22.5mm is what i used and it has zero movement
