you would imagine its heavy but its not actually too bad. i mean.. i was comparing it with my square reinforced pro, and they were pretty close.

My bad if it's been asked, don't feel like reading the rest of the thread...
Please tell me the zip tie on the deck is to hold the headtube while in shipping? And if you are welding a deck, why not just make the headtube yourself rather than use the Pro Models? And grinding down an NX fork doesn't make it your design, look into getting forks made yourself. I'd be bummed to see another FrenchID dick move, slapping their name on another companys product.

cam, forks r gonna be like 50- 60 bucks ABOUT
and josh,
yes the ziptie is only temporary of course.
in this picture, the deck hasnt even been welded yet, so thats just holding it in the right position. the reason i am using a pro headtube is just so tht the deck is more.. versitile... if thats the word.
like, i know some people like old a headtubes casue of the headtube angle, and so basicly, you have to supply your own headtube. i didnt see it as that big of a problem though figuring most people must have at least 1 hangin around. that, and with the design i have, you just slide the headtube in, and bolt it into the main frame of the scooter. that way, the stress is more distributed throughout the deck than at the foldy.

and about the NX fork, i dont plan on calling it "our own" part.
i just love how these forks feel, and i know other people would love them too.
they really are super strong, its just alot of work to make.
but im in the process of talking to akikko and buying some unfiled forks from fuzion. its not really our product, and we really arent planning on making much to any profit off these.
its just that, the only way for most kids to get one of these forks is to buy a complete fuzion NX and then part it (wich is rediculous)... and then they still have to spend hours of filing. so we just figured we could make tht whole process a bit easier.
:)

tom, about the nx forks.....idk if thats the greatest idea. most ppl wont buy a fork that onlyy fits 100mm wheels. i had mine filed to fot 110mm wheels the aluminum bottom part came off the steel tube. i drilled a hole and put a bolt in and it shakes. but these things are not meant to be filed down as far as 110mm...so i would double think about selling these....
