In one thread awhile ago, somebody proposed that if we can't get a captcha the security question should be something like "What does SCS stand for?"

The biggest issue is none of us have the power to do those things. Even "admins" can't IP ban. Dibble and Buff are the two super powers here and both have busy, non-SR lives.

We have reached a level of membership that it doesn't bother me that we would have to have somebody vouch for a new member or receive an email proving you're neither a bot or a complete idiot.

Once again though, I don;t think any of us have to power to implement that, even if we agreed on it.

And yeah Ryan, you're right. We've been told we're getting revamped a few times and all I can do is trust it will happen eventually, but I would have to find a short term solution so every time I log on I don't have to delete 50-60 threads.
