Brake bolt problem.

My switchblade bolt is stripped. No matter what I do to it it wont loosen or tighten at all, but I cant get it to come off. I can see the actual bolt turning inside the nut, but I cant get it off and the space in the deck is to small to get any good tools in.

Any ideas?

You could try drilling out the bolt. If you use a drill-bit just a tiny bit smaller it should only destroy the bolt and not the holes.

I had a total derp moment when making this thread.

What I use for my switchblade is I just find the right size wrench, hold it in with pliers, and when I turn the bolt it stays, and I dont have to constantly hold the wrench

But the problem was that when I did that exact same thing, I could see the screw turning inside of the bolt (which was clamped and not moving) but it wouldnt loosen or tighten.
