ive had my new pro for 3 weeks and i got a hole in the brake

Ive heard this happened to alot of people and it happened to one of my friends. I think its a common thing with pro brakes.

just don't use the brake when you're bombing hills... simple as that...

Yea, I burnt a hole through my older Pro Model brake. I also started burning through my shoes because I didn't know about the hole.

i've never done that to a pro mod break and ive had it and bin using it for about 7 months and i use my brake quite commonly, get a blade , problem solved they are intense lol

Old A brakes are bomb, I've been riding the same one for years and it's awesome. It's been through hell, constant braking going down tons of hills in San Fransisco as well as the Point X hill and countless long manuals.

Old brakes are way better. The new brakes are steel i think and when they got hot you can bend them around...

i don't know how you managed to burn a hole in it though, you must use the brake too much

old a brakes are good. but if u did that in 3 weeks your using the brake way to much....it took me like a year to burn a hole through my pro brake.

my first pro break lasted 7 months before i put a hole in it, nd my new pro break got a large hole in it , in about 3 weeks..they're not very good breaks in my opinion

Old brakes are way better. The new brakes are steel i think and when they got hot you can bend them around...

Pro-model brakes are made out of aluminium.
The new-A model i got in 2005 has a steel brake but the same design as a pro.

the newest a brakes are really short, they don't even cover the wheel where most of us put our foot on while manualing.
