Break or no break?

i have been seeing people have no brake on their scoots, whats the point of this and is it worth it to take the brake off? im just confused so help if you can...

oh and mods, if SR had a questions thread in the scooters area, it would be a lot more helpful so everyone doesnt need to make a new thread every time they have a question.

i don't take my break off cause when you pivot after flat 180s like i do it don't work with out a brake

no brake is pointless. if it gets in the way for you b/c you do a lot of flat/tech, then drill a hole and bolt it so it doesnt move.

Keep it on. I don't know why other people would do it, except to fit a 125mm wheel on the back.

but if you do ride brakeless, say goodbye to tiretaps, at least for a while, you can catch the wheel when doing fakies and sometimes manual.
