Breaking Bearings, WTF!?

So I recently started breaking tons of bearings for some reason.. The most annoying noise ever when your bearings are crackling non stop.. I don't understand whats going on at first I thought it might of just been Abec 5 bearings I've always rode are just not workin for me anymore so I went out and bought some 40 dollar bearings from a skateshop and all of them broke within the first week I bought them. I started thinking that maybe it was me tightening my wheels too tight but I don't think thats it I've always tightened them as tight as I have been. Plus I'm using bearing spacers. I think it could possibly be my wheels making them break somehow, any ideas?

I completely shatter bearings. It's probably the wheel you use. If the bearing slots are crazy tight, just pressing the bearings in can put to much pressure on them and they crack. It's not really noticeable until the races break though.

Either broken, or your wheels are ovalized (which isn't bad)
Just take them out, and spin them on your fingers.

right have you checked for imperfections/any thing in the bearings that could brake them ?

Hmm my front wheel makes a crackling noise when i ride, but only when i put pressure on it.

lol my front bearing exploded on me barspinning a 9 stair and i ate shit hahaha put some tape around the slots, and jam the bearings in there. i mean, JAM them in there

maybe your wheels are ovalized and the bearing is moving around in the wheel and causing stress on the bearings
