i just broke 1 stock promodel wheel and one old kryptonic wheel in a week? does anyone else have this problem? two wheels in a week? i know people break them just dont know how often. i want YAKs really bad but there sold out until January!!! and r YAKs supposed to last way longer and sh--?

i just locked foldy and bars this week does that make a difference to how to much force is applied everywhere or sumpthin? btw, both were back wheels


i looked around first and couldnt find anythin..... so please dont lock

People would break stock wheels fuckin daily. Just wait for the YAKs to come back in stock, or by the YAK low profile wheels.

Hot Glueeee!

i havent broken a yak in over a month with hot glue

just so you can compare.

i break like 2 stock wheels a day
and a yak without hot glue lasts me about a week =/

^^^^ same here i hot glued my wheel like 3 wekks ago and i still havent broken it i would have broken like 3 or 4 stock wheels by now it helps alot

nice i should try that. haha the new low profiles are so much solider then yaks guys no joke ive had a 110 in back and its been on for 2 weeks and i rode it for 7 hrs strait at sb and its still perfect. i even jumped that 10 stair a couple times with it

Grantstark , try to reinforce you wheel or something. Hot glue the space in between the spokes. Look around for pictures. Yaks are strong and cheap. Just get Yaks and stop buying and buying stupid wheels. If your rich , try Micro Metal cores.Look at the Wheel Review Thread just for some more information.

I am not very '' old '' with scooters so i'm not very good yet. No backflips or that kind of thing. My stock wheels have been lasting but i'm waiting for the 2007 Yaks to come out and buy those.

You can only buy them online, and they are out of stock EVERYWHERE until January, if there even going to be back in stock then.

ive thought about metal cores, but they are expensive!!!! maybe a metal core on back only? most people are breaking their back wheels not front rite??? whats a good front wheel??? yak or metal core good back?

sorry for all da questions haha major n00b here

If you get micro metal cores. there good on front or back. But if you get a drive, only put it on the front, because it de-hubs kinda quick on the back. And YAKs are good anywhere.

i just broke another kryptonic today at the skatepark! 3 wheels ina week! i hadnt broken anythin till i locked my foldy and my bars! i need metal cores or YAKs.
i broke two wheels doin 180 (i guess not clean enough????) and 1 double whippin. like i said earlier r u guys just breaking back wheels also???

edit: two kryptonics dehubbed, and the stock razor one had the core snap

I don't break wheels, I hardly break anything, but I figure its because I weigh so little...sooo maybe lose weight and you'll be fine.
