No it wasn't in fakie, and yeah I can whip, people always are like "woah can you whip your scooter?" because it's heavy and stuff so I bust the flat dubs and last time I did that I landed sketch and hurt my heels.

EXACT same problem, except i hurt mine whippin an 8 stair cause i missed the catch, but then i got it again after resting for a few minutes
