yea but you have that special metal that changes OD toward the end of the tube.

and you can grind the ID of the stem to 1 1/4 with a sanding dremel bit.

i lathed the top down... but yea my dad just got the wrong size pipe and we didnt wanna go back so we jsut lathed it down
