bus clamp buffs

ok so i tried searching all different terms but it wont let me search "bus" because apparently its to short
i need to make this style of bars with a ghetto bus stem

does the steerer tube of normal one piece bars fit in there ?
like if i had one piece bars and i cut of the crossbar ?

measure the diameter of the inside where the bars would go. if its 1 1/4" it should work with normal 1 peice bars

i dont have the clamp at the moment otherwise id just try slot the bottom end of bars in to test i just wanted to know so i didient go get it and it be too small or something

i hope it fits ive sorted a crossbar with up and back sweep so shes gunna be sweet

well if the inside is like 1 3/8 like oversized bars, then i guess you could stick a double-clamp shim inside the stem. or just get oversized main bar

dont bother, too much effort to keep it good, i rode it for 2 months and i had to fix it all the time because nothing was the right size and even then the bolts stripped a few times so save yourself the time.

the reason im doing this is so it will give my bars more rise and i can have bars with up-sweep as-well because i suffer from a bad back from my little ass bars but cant afford new ones

would it be worthwile if i did it like this ?

did you drill through it and put bolts in like the ones in buffs ?
cos if you did not i can imagine it being shit and coming loose if not sliding strait of
