buying a vx2000 what do i need

hey guys i decided to purchase a vx2000 because i want to start filming and that was all i could afford i was wandering what tapes i would need and what a good fisheye would be and also a back pack that is made for the vx it would be awesome if you could give me links
ohh and how do i upload the clips to a mac i know i am such a noob

Sony premium tapes, mk, and you use a FireWire to import clips

very true. use one tape brand (sony), run a head cleaning tape through before you film with it. firewire 800 for mac and firewire 400 for PC. setting it is a whole new ball game.

Vx's aren't great beginner cameras. You should probably look into something else.

or a apollo bag if you can find one
get a 100 dollar cap cam or something. the canon zr's work well super basic
i would say just get a 58mm opteka .3 fisheye and get a few 58mm spacer rings

good luck. dont forget to turn steadyshot off when using the fisheye... haha
