kenko doesnt have any vig unless you take off the macro if your a super douche. raynox glass sucks though, noticable quailty losses on my qc303..and that was the worst lens ive ever bought. never buying a raynox again

HD303 is fucking piece of shit, raynox has the worst glass ever. My kenko has no vig, depends on your camera, so aaa. Raynox isnt really somthing to brag about, if you had a baby death i could see a reason for the aaaa

To you the glass might look fine.. but to somone like me or miles that is into this kind of shit knows how bad it looks...

All the lens have a weakpoint...

Kenko = vig without macro on and glas isnt century quality

Anything Raynox = worst glass in the world and glary

Phenox? = 58mm threads, works fine on a compact video camera, but on a vx or somthing you get a whole ring of vig

Century Baby Death = 'sunshade' sucks, red glares if pointed a certain way at the sun

Century MK1 = red (or is it blue?) flairs

Century MK2 = wideness sucks compared to MK1 by soo much, red flairs

Century MK1 Intermediate = Not as wide as a mark one.. no flairs though

i got carried away haha

Its rubber dude, and the middle of the lens is poping out, its a sunshade. Theres no way the rubber is gonna keep the middle from hitting the ground, tims allready is scratched.

i didnt want to make a new thread but i dont really have any ideas about what camera i should get but i sure need a new one... any help on something kind of cheap but good enough that i dont get flamed for having such terrible quality would be very much appreciated.

its gotta be very similar to my camera because mine is dcrtrv260.... and my friends is dcrtrv460... the only differences between mine and his is that his has a touch screen, and a memory card slot for pictures... both were digital and could upload with usb or firewire... and yea the price difference was 50 bucks.. mine was 350 and his was 400.... so basically its an alright camera to start off with and the quality is decent... but i would suggest moving up because these take 8mm, hi8, or digital 8 tapes.. and they are decent i guess

Just looked it up, dosnt look that bad, especially if you cap with firewire. Sony cameras are usually pretty decent, stay away from JVC and the Cannon ZR series (well i would). Cannon Optura 10 is pretty much the best 1ccd camera you can get and you can usually find them for under 300 on ebay.

you can actually get pretty good colors on a zr if you know what your doing..which i didnt till not to long ago.. but yeah i wouldnt exactly recommend them

you can get decent colors out of almost any camera with some manual controls. my $300 panny that sucks can get some OK colors and has manual controls. just get like a ZR-100 those are pretty nice beginner setups then get a step up and a kenko and you're set

Brian, whats wrong with the zr series? ive had my zr85 for almost a year and have had no trouble at all with it. and i got it for about $500.
