Can anyone fix my jumps?

I'm a 100% street rider and have run outta tricks on flat and stalling so I want to step it up to doing stuff off my kicker but man I suck when I try anything off of a jump. Whenever I go for a whip I always land in back or the side of the deck, I just cant get my feet on the deck. I've stuck a bunch of them 1 footed but I cant get my left foot on(I ride regular if that matters). Anyone have some advice?

practice, i know its not gonna help right away, but keep riding and practicing the trick. also do you have griptape, its not going to make a huge difference, but it could help feet slipping off. i dont really know what you mean by landing on the top side of the deck because thats what your supposed to do. maybe you could try and keep both foot together in the air. that could help the 1 footed landings.

get over being scared one time and then you'll realize how easy it has always been.

You are just scared right now; it's normal.

Well I can do flat, stalls, rails and gaps so I dont know what else to call that besides street.

I thought it was just that and practice but I've been practicing and I seem to be getting nowhere which is frustrating.

Lol poor admins. The users are trying to break a record and its about something they don't want to have.

Uhhh CT , if you land in back or onto the side , I think its fine. As long as both feet are on the deck from the starting of the brake to the folding mech area , its fine and when you can get your stuff really good , maybe try working on style by landing your feet where you want them to?

Stop doing whips for awhile. Once you have some other tricks down then you can go for it, i find that this helps sometimes.

I posted 4 times because I didnt feel like copy and pasting a million times to quote a bunch of people in one post. By landing to the side or inback of the deck I mean not even on the deck, my feet land on the ground to the side or back. I talked to somone who can jump and they said the ramp I'm using is harder to trick off of than their other ramps so I'm going to build a ramp with a shallower incline than the one I have which is really steep. It's the same ramp I use for my bike.
