Can I get in trouble for waxing the curb in front of my house? cause everyone looks at me like I'm doing something wrong when I do it.

Ok then, I'll try that. lol. I guess they were looking at me in curiosity...

Lastly, is the footpath in front of my house owned by my parents (home/land owners) or the council?

matr! if the curb is on your land its perfectly ok, but if its in-front of your house most likely it will be council ,in which certain people might complain about it ( old people slipping over crossing the road ) but i dont think you would get in trouble worst thing to happen will be council clear it up .

and out of curiosity i was wondering , your sig , is it a mono print ??

What's a mono print? lol.
I just made it in photo shop with a couple of add ons.

Say someone slipped and hurt themselves on this slippery curb, could they sue me?

do it to open drains, especially ones with a metal edge, great for grinding and can look good when doing a street vid

Nope. Just tell them to fuck off lol. Tell them you're polishing it.
No, your wrong. Waxing the curb out front of your house is dangerous. You can get sued if someone slips and falls on it. My grandparents had a case against them before because they had a sidewalk block outfront of their house that was in bad shape and someone tripped on it and broke their hip or some shit. If someone steps on that curb and busts their ass resulting in injury you can get in trouble.

Reguardless, i waxed a curb outfront of my house, but grinding curbs is pretty shitty for your deck. You are better off making a little $20 box to grind on.

Super queer.
^^ yea. I just had this one street where i rode and everyone in the neighbor hood that could grind on whatever they rode waxed and grinded this curb so if u go to a street spot u should be fine.

people do gay shit for money.

also the sidewalk is always owned by the town, or else it would be trespassing to walk on a sidewalk. and so is the curb. you could probably get in trouble for waxing it depending where you live, if its an upscale neighborhood i would be careful cause the inspectors could say shit. use white wax so they cant see it that well.

I'M CB!
yeah the last five feet of your yard and sidewalk are owned by the town. (so if they want to put a sign up or something.) And you could def get sued if someone fell and hurt themselves.

Depends on the area I believe. The sidewalk out front of my house is owned by us to the point where it meets the street (excluding the fire hydrant out front of my house). We have a driveway which has a slant that connects to the street, also a patch of grass on the opposite side of the sidewalk next to the curb. The city doesn't come and mow our grass or anything because we own it, and they also aren't going to come fix our driveway slant if it gets wrecked. So if I wax that curb up and someone comes and slips on it its on us, not the city.

Something like this would be owned by the city though

Wax that shit up, i have one of them across the street from me, if the city were to catch you waxing it though they could probably fine you for defacing property.

use soap, it makes it slick and it washes away

It was labeled as an "up scale" neighbour hood, but the fucking government are builing a housing comisson up the road from me so they can go get fucked.

I used white wax too, but you know how it goes black and shit from all of the residue and stuff off your deck?

Yeah, I might but I like long grinds...

Get clear coat spray paint. Works great as wax, and doesn't turn black or anything. Saw someone doing it on cement coping at my local skatepark. Works good.
