Well its pretty expensive and after its done you have to do a lot of work for it to fit on a scooter.

It doesnt look that cool either imo

duplicolor is spraypaint.... chome plating is a chemical process. they are completely different.

It's just gonna suck unless you get them actually chromed haha.
And Grant, chrome plating is only 0.00013 to 0.00025 millimeters thick. Don't worry about your bars not fitting anymore.

in the videos it looked pretty nice.. but i just dont have 90$ to spend

If you aren't going to actually get them chromed then just paint em or keep em raw with clear coat. Chrome-look spray paint is stupid.

Mike oster mother aluminum polish wont do any thing because bars are steel.


but go to ure local hard ware store and buy steel polish it wont be totally chrome but it will be very shiny

if you're not gonna get it one professionally, then your bars wont really be chrome....

exactly, no chrome paint will ever look as good as chrome done professionally...the next best thing will be to sand, sand, sand up to 2000-2500 grit, then polish, polish, polish, then clearcoat...it will have a very high polished look, but will look good if done right..

is it possible at all to polish chromoly bars (cooper klaar), i would like to get them as close to chrome as possible, what would i have to do to get them as close as possible?
