well who is actually right, Mike Billick, who said not to do it at all, or you guys, right now im believing you guys, if you cant afford powdercoating, which i prob. cant, can you use like rustoleum spraypaint or some kind of spraypaint?
You can powder coat the whole damn thing. The aluminum will be fine... There are tons of powder coated dirt bike frames around here and you don't see them snapping in half at the track...
The catch for the stem is you have to use a low curing powder that cures at 300 degrees instead of 450 degrees. This is what scuba tanks, aluminum wheels, aluminum frames, etc. are coated with.
