Cane Creek S-3 won't spin! Help please!!!

Just bought it, installed the cubs using the bolt and washers. They are fully in, and when I put the bearings in and installed the bars, tightened it up, and the fucking bars don't spin. It feels really tight and even when I loosened it it doesn't work. Help please!

I thought maybe I put the bearings in upside down but I can't get them out so i don't know what to do!

how did you put the cups in? when i put my cups in on my s3 i damaged the top of the cup so when i put my top cap on it wouldnt even budge. now i cant use the top cap at all. so yea, how did you put the top cup in?

using a headset press from bolts and washers. it doesn't even spin and it's pissing me off because I paid 40 dollars for this.

Yeah, check your crown race. if you didnt put on the one that didnt come with that headset it might not spin, or it will lock up.

And also check the pinch ring

anyways make sure you put the top bearing in the top cup and the bottom bearing in the bottom cup...

I don't know I always have so many fucking problems with headsets it's ridiculous.

1. Check if the bearings are in the correct way. If you don't know what side is up and what is not, then just test but don't clamp your bars on until you see it works.

2. I personally don't have any experiences with a Cane-Creek S-3 headset, but if it has any additional rubber seals, then make sure they are installed in the correct way. If the headset doesn't have any removable rubber seals, ignore this section.

3.1. The old crownrace should be removed from your fork. To remove it, use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to get it off.

3.2. The S-3's crownrace (the lowest piece of the kit) should be installed onto the fork.

^^Pretty sure the bearings are in wrong. But I switched back to my unsealed FSA and my buddy is giving me his sealed FSA off his old bike so I'll use that,
