Cane Creek vs FSA

cane creek tanks 2's are REALLY STRONG if you break headsets and any other cane creek is good if you want a fast headset. sealed fsa down hill pros are strong and really quite but not very fast. i would go with cane creek tank 2. or if you have the money a chris king headset!!!!!

I like the FSA Pig DH Pro but instead of runnung the sealed bearings get a set of bearings from the FSA PIG (Unsealed) and use them, it's real smooth and real fast!

i love my cane creek s3 sealed. its soooooo smooth and i can whip and bar the same but if you just spin the bars it is a lot slower than unsealed, but i had a cane creek tank II and that was a great headset too.

i recommend either of those for you.

ive been riding a fsa pig unsealed for like 2 years. once i put it on ive never had to adjust it or fix anything. i dont ride all the time like i used to but still, fsa pig is the way to go. and i used to ride the pig sealed before that.

so i "had" an fsa unsealed and me and greg were riding while it was monsoon-ing out and that shit rusted so bad i decided to open it to see if i could do anything about it.

elmer couldnt get the clamp off all the way b/c of rust, but anyway the bearings were hxc rusted and it was funny cuz two balls popped out of the bottom and i spent like half an hour trying to get them back in but they kept falling out.

the end.

My friend got a sealed FSA pig and wanted to install it himself. it got put in wrong or something because it has this bad slow spot now.

other than that its soo smooth and solid.

i have an aheadset mallet atm, which is really fast but far from smooth or quiet.
