canon 430EX stroboscopic mode

anyone know how to get into the stroboscopic mode?
where it blinks a bunch to times per second to freeze a lot of motion during a long exposure

in this case, the flash blinked 3 times per second, if the shutter speed was one second

the only way i can get it to work is when its a slave and when that happens i just set my 580EX to strobe mode and my 430 does the rest.

i think its only with the 580, but thanks anyways.

yeah i thinkits only a 580 feature, but i'll go look at my 430 manual for strobe mode
