Can't figure out what's wrong with my HIC HELP!!!

I took my bars off to tighten my HIC because it came loose and when i turn the compresion bolt it just turns and doesnt go up or down and i know my starnut didnt pull out because my shim wouldve came off and my forks wouldve came out of my head tube right? HELP!

rip the shim out forcefullly

its the plastic one from lucky so its really tight on there so i have to tug it forcefully to get it off with out a screw holding it down

Cut ur bolt head off.

Cut the top cap, its easy to make one out of a pile of steel washers.

Try wedging a flat head screw driver under the bolt head while trying to back the bolt out.

Butter knife works also since they're thinner but don't let your Mom catch you

i know this shits old but if you havent fixed it, here ya go. if your bolt isnt counter sunk into your topcap, try getting a hacksaw and cut a slit into your bolt head. then get a flathead screwdriver and take it out. get a new bolt btw too.

no, he stripped the bolt threads not the head.

if the blot has flanges then take ur front wheel off and stick a flathead screwdriver between the flange and the bottom of the forks, also use wd-40 to help it ease out

put an allen wrench on the compresion bolt the hit the top with a wrench or something and itll loosen right out it happened to me last night.
