Can't Get Wee Bars over my Inward Forks (Solved!)

Well i just got new Inward forks and when i try to put my wee bars over them, it slides on until it hits top of the slit and stops and wont go any farther, also it like stretched out the part where the slits are. any help?

You need wider(diameter) bars or Brass Knuckles. It doesn't sound like it's going to happen any other way.

Yeah thats what i was thinking too, but I already have Brass Knuckles ordered but they wont be here for like 3 weeks and wanted to ride with an inverted until then but i guess i cant lol.

You have the first batch of chromoly WEE bars which i thought they were gonna fit perfectly on any fork. But it turned out they had 0.005" smaller inner diameter which is causing problems getting them onto threadless forks.

Since you already ordered Brass Knuckles, your wees will work with them anyway. I'm sorry for the inconvinience. So all you gotta do is wait for the Knuckles to arrive, cut your bars 2" off the bottom, put them in your clamp and you're set
